Pitigliano

Pitigliano is a town in the province of Grosseto, situated about 80 km south-east of the capital. Pitigliano is a typical village in the Maremma Grosseto unique to the particularity of being built entirely on a tuffaceous rock, making it one of the most interesting of the tuff.
The village stands on a plateau formed by the water lens, and Meleta Proch, is certainly one of the most beautiful art in Tuscany and Italy, the town retains many monuments of art ranging from the medieval to the eighteenth century.
